WicommFi extender is one of the best extenders available in the market. Extenders as the name say these are used for the extension of wireless range of an existing router. This is the only extender that can be used as a router, repeater or access point. You can switch the mode and set it up as you need. How to setup WicommFi wireless range extender?

  1. Connect to its open wireless network. (2.4G_WICOMMFI / 5G WICOMMFI).
  2. Open your browser and type in the address bar 192.168.10.1 and hit enterby using your keyboard.
  3. Use admin for both user name & password.
  4. Choose Repeater mode on the dashboard.
  5. Choose the network you want to connect to.
  6. Type the name you need and selected host network password
  7. Hit connect and wait for few seconds.

After few seconds, you will be able to access the internet by connecting to the extender’s network.

How to setup WicommFi extender as a router?

To setup you need to connect an Ethernet cable from modem or wall to WicommFi extender.

  1. Connect to its open wireless network. (2.4G_WICOMMFI / 5G WICOMMFI).
  2. Open your browser and type in the address bar 192.168.10.1 and hit enterby using your keyboard.
  3. Use admin for both user name & password.
  4. Choose Router mode on the dashboard.
  5. Select your internet type. You can ask your ISP about it. You have a choice to select for Static/Dynamic/PPPoE. Put the name and password you need for the router.
  6. Put the name and password you need for the router. Select encryption type also.
  7. Hit apply and wait for few seconds.
  8. Restart your modem and extender before using.

How to setup WicommFi extender as an access point?

To setup an access point you need to connect an Ethernet cable router to extender.

  1. Connect to its open wireless network. (2.4G_WICOMMFI /5G WICOMMFI).
  2. Open your browser and type in the address bar 192.168.10.1 and hit enter by using your keyboard.
  3. Use admin for both user name & password.
  4. On the dashboard choose AP mode.
  5. Type the name, select encryption and put the password you need.
  6. Hit apply and wait for few seconds.
  7. Restart the device and start using it.
